VOLUNTEER FOR REC
Make a difference in a child’s life … and yours!
It’s as easy as spending 90 minutes per week
helping a child with homework. If you can read
and do Elementary School math, you can be a
REC volunteer tutor.
No teaching skills necessary – just a desire to be
part of REC’s mission to help Grand Junction’s
at-risk children gain academic success. REC will
provide training and all materials.
Our volunteer tutors are often surprised by the
fulfillment they get out of working with REC’s students. Just showing you care can lead to the reward of a welcoming smile each week from a grateful child who is happy to see you.
Come join the REC family!
